Creative Squirrel Studio is an Indianapolis-based, multidisciplinary design studio that collaborates with nonprofits and small businesses to amplify their story and impact through thoughtful and strategic design. We're also unapologetically punny.

But what's with the squirrel?

Yeah, yeah. We know—"SQUIRREL" is most often shouted as a comical cue to refocus and stop getting so lost in the details. But as multidisciplinary, creative squirrels—getting lost in the details is something we pride ourselves in. In fact, we wholeheartedly believe that a squirrel's focus—or hyper-focus rather, is one of their greatest attributes.

You see, in nature, squirrels are pretty darn good at making mighty oak trees appear out of no where. As they hyperfocus on securing their food for winter, they scurry about, burying acorns in caches scattered throughout the forest floor. Over time, those acorns begin to sprout roots that form the strong foundation they need to support the mighty oak trees they will eventually become.

Their ability to hyperfocus on the task at hand (aka a squirrel's gotta eat), enables them to effectively plant the trees that will support hundreds of other species in the years to come.

As creative squirrels, that ability to hyperfocus enables us to ensure an impactful finished product that will help you move your mission forward, and ultimately, help you become the mighty organization you're destined to be.

When we see something new and shiny—yeah, we LOVE to dig into what it's all about. This curiosity allows us to cache away those little nuggets for down the road when we need to zoom out from the fine details to see the bigger picture.

Because we're a small but mighty team, we're able to move quickly and efficiently on your projects. When a project calls for it, we reach out to fellow creatives on our Squirrel Squad to scale up when necessary.

I'm Christine, the design and marketing nut behind Creative Squirrel Studio.

After 15+ years serving the printing and creative industries, I founded the studio in 2021 with a mission to make a bigger impact on this world. As a creative soul, helping nonprofits, mission-driven organizations, and small businesses lighten their creative workload seemed like a no-brainer.

As a former foster parent, I have a true passion for youth and family advocacy programs, but have experience across a wide range of sectors including education, health and wellness, ecommerce, consumer goods, and manufacturing.

When I'm not dreaming up how to help our clients grow, you'll likely find me practicing yoga, cruising on my paddleboard, or spending some quality time with my husband, two pups, and the real boss of the Squirrel Squad—my son.
